BARLBY HIGH SCHOOL IS PART OF

“The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”

26th November 2018

Dear Parent or Guardian,

Barlby High School are delighted to invite you to this year’s school production, “The Wiz”, a modern musical based on the story “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum.

Join Dorothy and her friends on their journey through the Land of Oz. Will the mysterious Wiz give the Scarecrow a brain?  Can he help the Lion to find some courage? Or teach the Tinman to recover his heart?

The performances will be on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th December, in the main hall, commencing at 7:00pm. Tickets for the performances are now on sale, via Parent Pay, costing £3.50 per ticket.

As well as getting to watch the wonderful production, there will be refreshments on sale before the show begins, as well as during the interval. There will also be a Tombola for you to win some lovely prizes.

We very much hope to see you there.

Thank you for your support,

Miss Horsley and Mrs Wright

Co-Directors of ‘The Wiz’
