To alleviate anxieties, we have a planned programme, worked out in consultation with our partner primary schools. As well as developing stronger links between the schools through teacher visits and meetings to discuss the curriculum, we invite all of our potential students to join us for various events in school.
In July each year we hold a Transition evening and a Transition (Induction) Day so that your child can find out which form they are in, who their classmates are and experience a day at Barlby High. Full information can be found in our Transition Guide.
