Barlby High School is now a collection point for Selby Foodbank. I’m sure you’re aware that the foodbank provides essential food to help people in crisis.
If you feel you could help, the following items are particularly needed:
Milk (UHT of powdered)
Fruit juice (long life)
Soup
Custard
Tinned sponge pudding
Tinned tomatoes
Tinned vegetables
Cereals
Tinned rice pudding
Tea bags/instant coffee
We will have a collection point in school throughout the year; at any point you can drop items into school or send them with your child.
Many thanks for your support
Julie Caddell Principal

YR 8 reading list has been emailed to YR 8 parents today. Remember 'Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are'. With the current weather & the lockdown why not take sometime time to escape from it all in the pages of a book. @BarlbyEng@Barlby_Highpic.twitter.com/zXaC…
Just had a fabulous lesson with Year 8 students where they presented their own research on weapons of the First World War. Some shared slide shows with the class while others composed poetry. I couldn't get them off the meeting when our time was up! Fabulous. @Barlby_High
